I started training in February as part of Sean Fagan's The Fighters Body Workout Program, I really enjoyed the instruction and energy that Sean puts into the program. I wanted something that I could really focus on with some additional Heavy Bag training without just slapping away at the bag. You get some HBB 2.0 workouts in the Fighters program this just made me want more so I bought the program. I certainly haven't been disappointed its well put together and easy to follow. Everything is provided, technique talk throughs, burnout drills, ab work and the training is progression based. It covers all levels from beginner through to the experienced practitioner. For me being a shift worker trying to manage my work, life balance this programs allows me to train at home, allowing me to rinse and repeat, stop and review without being rushed or pressured. The audio only downloads are perfect to put the earbuds in and work away. You can follow the program or mix and match the workouts to suit your needs. Its a good investment - Glad I purchased the product my pleasure in providing a review.
I'm LOVING the course. Everything is laid out well so I can practice and get better on my own! I'm truly new to Muay Thai (most experience comes from playing Sagat in street fighter). This course gives me the confidence to learn something I've always wanted to do!
I've studied martial arts (kung fu, may thai, wing chun, boxing) for 15 years. I was looking for a course to work on with my heavy bag at home, especially because I'm busy with kids, a crazy job and couldn't get to the gym much anyway, even before the the covid-19 quarantine. I looked into a bunch of the available courses, sampled videos on YouTube, and really took a liking to Sean Fagan's instruction, style, techniques and the supporting Facebook community. He's actual fought Muay Thai and is just a genuinely nice guy. His enthusiasm for the art jumps out at you from every video and it's almost as good as training with him in person. I've been working through HBB 2.0 for a couple of months and my fitness and techniques are improving. It's worth the investment (let's be honest -- you get the whole course for about 1 or 2 months of gym membership) and I strongly recommend it.
I've done muay thai for 2 years, took a long break (5 years), and am now getting back into it. I am currently writing this during Covid-19 so many gyms are closed, but I just set up a heavy bag.
I discovered this through youtube and loved Sean's videos on the heavybag workout and wanted more. This blueprint has exactly that and more. His workout routines are fun and tutorials are how I was taught. Glad I made this purchase, I have zero regrets.
I am now two weeks into the Heavy Bag Blueprint 2.0. I have hooked up a heavy bag in our garage, and have been fitting in workouts between Corporate work life, and two kids under five!
As a real novice, I started with the Beginner course - it’s great there are two more advanced programmes that I can step up to. The video content is clear, easy to follow, and the workouts are focused. I have used the other reading material to help refine technique and just learn more about Muay Thai. I have coupled each workout with a Fighters Body session - essentially a 5mins attack on the abs!
The emails, podcasts, FB group and personalised video (very cool) helped with motivation.
The outcome so far - I feel fitter and stronger. I am taking the time too improve my technique. I am energised, committed, and excited to continue the HBB2.0 journey.
